I used your recipe for Thanksgiving (we’re not too traditional with what we
bring), and added garlic powder, and some soy sauce for some saltiness.
That pulled pork didn’t last an hour. You’re the only guys I get my recipes
    from now.

    Hi there,
I was wondering if you could use my own rub with this. Could I get your
opinion on it? Will it compliant the meat? And will my homemade BBQ sauce
also work? Here are the ingredients for both. Thanks!

    Dry rub:
    1 cup of Brown Sugar
    1/2 of Salt
    1/2 of Paprika Powder
    3 tbs Course ground pepper
    2 tbs garlic powder
    2 tbs garlic powder

    BBQ Homemade sauce:
    3 cups Apple juice
    1/2 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
    1 cup Ketchup
    1/2 cup Worcester sauce
    2 tsp Garlic Powder
    2 tsp Onion Powder
    1 tsp black pepper

    Wood Used In Smoker:
Soaked Apple Wood Chips (Fill a tin)
    Soaked Apple Wood Chunks (4-5)

I tried your recipe for smoking a pork butt. It worked to perfection and
the family agreed it was real GOOOOD! Before putting the pulled pork in a
corn tortilla I grilled up some jalapenos with garlic and olive oil and
poured that over the meat – pit master privilege! Oh man – it was out of
this world. Thanks for all you do – I’m learning a lot watching your

  31. Jared Robinson

Hi guys, how are doing? My name is Jared and I am from Australia and I am a
huge fan of your YouTube show love all your recipes. I have a char-griller
griller pro at home and I indirect cook on it, well for Christmas I had my
family over about 30 people or so and I made two smoked leg of lamb, and
two smoked low roosted pork shoulder one for pulled pork, and was all
cooked in about 6 hours. I marinated the pork overnight in a mix that had
both bourbon and beer in it ( if your in Australia Tues extra dray) witch
having the beer in it helps brake it down much quicker when cooking it.
Also I used the marinade as basting for the pork witch keeps it most

  32. DarkyDevvy

I’m cooking this baby up today, and I’m about 3 hours into it. I’ve had
trouble keeping the heat down even though I’m only using half of a chimney
of briquettes, so I may have to cover the meat up in foil just to keep that
    moisture in.
